Virat Kohli's parents recognized his talent and enrolled him in the West Delhi Cricket Academy when he was nine years old. At the academy, Kohli trained under the guidance of Rajkumar Sharma, who is still his coach to this day. Under Sharma's guidance, Kohli honed his skills and developed into a top-class cricketer.

Domestic Career

Virat Kohli's domestic career started in 2006 when he made his debut for Delhi in the Ranji Trophy. He was only 18 years old at the time. Kohli's debut season was a mixed one as he only managed to score 10 runs in his first match. However, he bounced back in the second match with an impressive knock of 90. Kohli continued to perform well in the tournament and finished the season with 246 runs at an average of 22.36.

In the next season, Kohli made a name for himself by scoring his maiden century in first-class cricket. International Career
